His undefeated record is going to be on the line. 

At 50-0, Floyd Mayweather Jr. has not been in a competitive boxing match since his August 2017 bout against Conor McGregor. His TKO victory that night allowed him to surpass Rocky Marciano’s 49-0 mark, and Mayweather walked away aside from a few exhibitions since then. 

That’s going to change next year. On Thursday evening, Mayweather, 42, posted an Instagram wearing boxing shorts and his hands taped up, saying “Coming out of retirement in 2020.”
