According to the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) “eating out is linked to nearly twice as many outbreaks as eating in”.
From the CSPI’s research over a ten-year period, studies showed that there were almost two times as many foodborne illness outbreaks directly linked to restaurants than to private homes. Also, many of the answers for these illnesses were never found in this ten year period.
It is a well known fact that despite our best efforts by the US Food & Drug Administraion (FDA), US Department of Agriculture, and other numerous food-safety experts, our policies have failed many citizens who continue to suffer from food poisoning, disease, and related obesity complications.
