The 44th NAACP Image Awards were held this past Friday, February 1, with winners including Jamie Foxx and Kerry Washington.
Foxx was named Entertainer of the year, while Washington received the NAACP President’s Award. Additionally, Harry Belafonte received the Spingarn Medal, and Vice Admiral Michelle Howard (pictured here) received the NAACP Chairman’s Award.
Hosted by Steve Harvey, the show was broadcast live from Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium and aired on NBC, and included performances by Gladys Knight and Wyclef and Common.
