Tickets are on sale now for Big Wake Weekend — California’s premier lakefront festival combining culture, sports and entertainment — which will take place at Folsom Lake’s Granite Bay State Recreation Area from May 31-June 2.
Powered by Toyota, Big Wake Weekend will feature three days fun, from the return of H1 racing to Granite Bay for the first time in 46 years. The H1 Unlimited Series features the fastest boasts in the world capable of 200+ MPH. Drivers of these $1 million hydroplanes will converge onto Granite Bay from across the US starting Thursday, May 30 with practice and qualifying opening during the event weekend May 31.
Also during the weekend are impressive stunts of the Hyperlite Experience — wakeboarding’s foremost presentation and show — and American Power Boat Association championship race series. Also on hand are exhibits, themed beer gardens, food, and the Nationwide Insurance’s Motorsports Midway with entertainment for all ages.
Tickets are on sale now starting at $19 for Friday or $39 per day on the weekend — discounts are available for three-day packages.
