Just a few days remain until the gun goes off at Western Health Advantage’s 20th annual Run to Feed the Hungry, which helps raise funds and awareness for families in need in our community as all proceeds benefit the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services.

Celebrate one of Sacramento’s greatest traditions by participating in either the 10K run (8:30am start) or 5K run/walk (9am) on Thanksgiving Day. A beautiful course through East Sacramento is ready for participants of all ages and abilities. A turnout of 28,000 participants is expected on November 28.

The race starts at the J Street entrance of Sac State and the post-race celebration occurs at Scottish Rite Masonic Center on H Street.

Online registration is open at runtofeedthehungry.com through November 27. Registration is $35 per person, and $20 for children 15 and under. Timing chips are available for an additional $5 (only 7,000 available). Registration the day of the event is $40 per person and no timing chips are available. Participants who donate $50 or more at time of registration will receive a commemorative Run to Feed the Hungry beanie.
