Fox Monday made official what had long been rumored: The network is picking up Gotham, a new series that will tell the origination stories of many Batman characters.
Gotham will delve into the early lives of both heroes and villains. The cast includes Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon; Donal Logue as his partner, Harvey Bullock; Jada Pinkett Smith as villain Fish Mooney; and David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, the alter ego of Batman.
