On Wednesday (July 4), Janet Jackson took to Instagram to thank her fans for their support following the death of her father Joe Jackson, who passed away on June 27 of pancreatic cancer.
Jackson, who will headline the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans on Sunday (July 8), had some trouble finishing the video due to her young son, Eissa Al Mana, demanding attention while his mom was filming. Although the 19-month-old isn’t seen in the clip, he can be heard asking to be picked up as Jackson films the video.
