Jay Z and Will Smith are behind an upcoming miniseries that will tell the tragic story of Emmett Till, the 14 your-old African-American teen who was murdered and mutilated in 1955 in Mississippi for merely talking to a Caucasian girl. Till’s murderers were acquitted, despite admitting to the murder later. The project is currently untitled, with no writers nor talent attached. The duo, along with Calvin Harris, also have an EDM-centric comedy in development at the Home Box Office as well.
