Dr. Mehmet Oz of the “Dr. Oz Show,” “American Idol” winner Jordin Sparks and Doug E. Fresh are just a few of the collaborators on “Songs for a Healthier America” — an album designed to motivate kids to make healthier exercise and wellness choices.

Produced by the Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) and Hip Hop Public Health (HHPH), the album is the result of an innovative collaboration between musicians, physicians, public health researchers, entertainment industry professionals, health advocates, and school-aged kids. The contributors all recognize the need to address the epidemic facing America’s youth and America’s future, and help them make better decisions.

Songs from the album can be downloaded for free at ahealthieramerica.org/songs.
