Colin Kaepernick’s scheduled Saturday practice went south, with him bowing out and holding one of his own. Most of the NFL folks who were scheduled to attend opted not to follow Kaep across town.
Mike Jones, a writer for USA Today, argued that no one won in that volley. For the most part, I agree. However, I took liberty with the number of anonymous sources Jones cited in that piece. Three times throughout it, Jones claimed that they spoke under anonymity because of the sensitivity of the situation.
As Kaepernick is out there with HIS point of few, name, face, and all, I think those anonymous NFL folks should be, too. So I asked Jones about it.
