Kendrick Lamar has earned the number one spot on MTV’s recently revealed list of this year’s “Hottest MCs in the Game.”
According to an article on MTV.com, http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1703255/hottest-mcs-2013-kendrick-lamar.jhtml, Lamar’s album “good kid, m.A.A.d. city” became the “benchmark for hip-hop albums in an era dominated by downloads.”
Coming in at the #2 spot, 2 Chainz earned his spot on the list due to his work with G.O.O.D. Music and his solo LP.
Rounding out the top 5 are Rick Ross at #3, Nas at #4 and Drake at #5.
