This June, get your motor running and enjoy a trip back in time as Macy’s celebrates the 80th anniversary of the drive-in theater with its own version, the “Macy’s Great American Drive-In,” which will pay homage to this time-honored family tradition by providing customers with a free showing of “The Smurfs” in pop-up drive-ins at select Macy’s stores and existing drive-in theaters nationwide.

- June 21 — Macy’s Pleasanton Stoneridge in Pleasanton
- June 22 — Sacramento 6 Drive-In
- June 27 — Macy’s Union Square in San Francisco
The show will feature a screening of “The Smurfs” plus a sneak peek at the upcoming “The Smurfs 2.” To get pre-energized for the show, attendees are urged to come early for a free evening filled with family-friendly carnival activities, top tunes, delicious treats, giveaways and more.
