Mae Mays — the wife of baseball legend Willie Mays — died this past Friday at the age of 74, according to an article on MercuryNews.com.
According to the article, Mays passed away in her sleep in the couple’s Bay Area home after battled Alzheimer’s disease for 16 years. The Mays were reportedly married for 41 years.
