Michelle Obama is revealing her coping mechanisms while dealing with a global pandemic and the ongoing fight for racial justice in her latest podcast episode.
During the second episode of “The Michelle Obama Podcast” released Wednesday, the former first lady sits down with award-winning journalist Michele Norris to discuss her mental health during quarantine, admitting that although she sticks to a rigid schedule, she still deals with “some form of low-grade depression.”
“These are not, they are not fulfilling times, spiritually,” she reveals. “I know that I am dealing with some form of low-grade depression. Not just because of the quarantine, but because of the racial strife, and just seeing this administration, watching the hypocrisy of it, day in and day out, is dispiriting.”
