Michelle Obama to appear on ABC’s ‘Nashville

The FLOTUS is going to make a small-screen appearance on a hot ABC show next month, the network announced.

Michelle Obama will play herself, of course, on the countrified hit show Nashville, which stars Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere.

E! reports that the guest-starring gig for Obama will happen May 7 in a military-inspired episode that will also feature American Idol alum Kellie Pickler.
