Oprah Winfrey and “yard sale” are usually not synonymous with each other, but that was not the case this past weekend when the Winfrey held what was billed as an “epic yard sale” to raise money for her girls school in South Africa, according to an article on People.com.

According to the article, items at the massive sale held in Santa Barbara included items from Winfrey’s homes in Hawaii, Indiana and California. Items ranged from a teapot to a set of sixth 18th-century Louis XVI armchairs that fetched $60,000.

The sale reportedly made $600,000, which Winfrey was reportedly going to use to support her Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa.
