After confessing during a deposition that she has used a racial slur, celebrity chef Paula Deen has been dropped by the Food Network and now Smithfield, while reports say QVC is also reconsidering its relationship with her, according to an article on USAToday.com.
According to the article, ham company Smithfield stated they cut ties with Deen as they condemn “the use of offensive and discriminatory language and behavior of any kind.”
Deen has reportedly issued a number of apologies and rescheduled a “Today” interview with Matt Lauer, which will reportedly air tomorrow.
