According to the Relationship Skills Center in Sacramento, every day thousands of kids are emotionally or physically abuses, and 70 percent of Sacramento area high school students feel unsafe or have been victimized in school. Plus one in three of our local area children have experienced dating violence.

The Relationship Skills Center, in partnership with Rotary District 5180, has formed REact (Relationship Education Action for Youth) – a program that will bring relationship education to Sacramento area middle and high schools to teach:

  • Prevention dating violence
  • Stopping peer violence and bullying
  • Making healthy dating decisions
  • Avoiding teen pregnancy.

The Relationship Skills Center is looking for donations to help purchase workbooks for students for the REact program. $10 buys a student workbook, while a donation of $300 sponsors an entire classroom.
