The Sacramento Area Black Caucus (SABC) will present The Annual Cheryl Ann Fisher & The Rosenwald “Robbie” Robertson Scholarship Recognition Dinner on Saturday, May 4, 2013, in Sacramento.
The dinner will recognize this year’s winners of scholarships awarded in memory of community activist and City Council Member Rosenwald “Robbie” Robertson, and Cheryl Ann Fisher — a founding member of the Sacramento Black Nurses Association and Black United Fund of Sacramento Valley.
The event will feature a keynote by Margaret Fortune, CEO of Fortune School of Education.
Tickets are a $10 donation per person. RSVP by May 1. The event will take place from 6pm to 8:30pm at A Touch of Class Restaurant, 4217 Stockton Blvd., in Sacramento.
