More than 20,000 turned out for the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day march in Sacramento, according to an article in the Modesto Bee.

Attendees reportedly marched downtown from Oak Park, Sacramento City College and Grant High School to honor the vision of Dr. King.

Run by MLK 365, this year’s theme was dealing with the education gap that plagues African-American and other minority communities.
