Black Men in Leadership making big strides in the community and beyond. THE HUB salutes Mr. William Jahmal Miller as he meets another milestone in his journey up the ladder of success. As stated on Facebook by William’s brother, Derrick Miller, “Another milestone day in the Miller family!! My youngest brother Wm. Jahmal Miller was confirmed by the Senate Rules Committee as the Deputy Director of Health Equity for the State of California!! Couldn’t be prouder…..answered the questions clearly, confidently & showed he is the right man for the position! Thank you to all who came and spoke in support of my brother and/or showed support!!” Several community members and colleagues as well as family members of William gathered for this exciting celebration.
The Senate Rules Committee confirmed Mr. William Jahmal Miller as the Deputy Director of Health Equity for the State of California at the State Capitol on Wednesday, July 2, 2014.
