Sisters of Nia, Inc., are holding a free community Health Fair this Saturday, October 26, at Tahoe Park in Sacramento.
This family event will feature free screenings, healthy cooking demonstrations, community resources, guest speakers, and information on heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, HIV/AIDS, nutrition, infant mortality and more.
The event will also feature a 1.5 mile Walk-A-Thon starting at 10am, with all proceeds directly supporting Sisters of Nia. Walk-A-Thon participation is $5 per person.
The Health Fair will take place Saturday, October 26, from 9am to noon at Tahoe Park, 3501 59th St., in Sacramento.
