Access Sacramento recently had a special guest during a taping of “Sacramento Film Works” — actor, director and musician Tim Russ, best known for his role as Tuvok on the “Star Trek Voyager” series, according to an article in a recent Access Sacramento newsletter.
Russ reportedly visiting Access Sacramento to provide acting pointers and an insider’s view of working in the television and movie industry for “Sacramento Film Works,” which airs at 6pm on the first Saturday of each month on Access Sacramento. The show is hosted by Kanisha Allen and Cline Moore, and highlights filmmaking in the Sacramento region and provides job tips for aspiring filmmakers.
According to the article, Russ showed a clip from his upcoming new film that he directed, “Star Trek Renegades” due out in 2014.
The episode of “Sacramento Film Works” starring Russ is expected to air after the start of the New Year.
