Target will host a job fair this week to hire about 200 for its new Rocklin store, scheduled to open in the Rocklin Commons shopping complex in March.
Fair hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the City of Rocklin Event Center, 2650 Sunset Blvd.
Officials said store representatives will conduct pre-scheduled interviews for numerous positions at the store at Interstate 80 and Sierra College Boulevard. Applicants are encouraged to visit www.target.com/careers to apply in advance. Target said it also will accept walk-up applicants.
Target announced in midyear 2013 that it would open a 136,000-square-foot store in Rocklin Commons.
