The Mary L. Stephens Davis Branch Library in Davis will host a program for teens and their parents on October 15 on how teens can get better organized for success.

The program will be presented by Ashley Meyers, a Davis High School alumna, professional organizer and dynamic speaker, who will speak on how teens can organize their personal spaces and manage their time for optimum success.

“Today’s young people are inundated with information every day,” said Yolo County Librarian Patty Wong. “Keeping track of it all can be challenging, even for the best intentioned among us. If students want to be more efficient, the first step is learning the best ways of keeping organized. This free workshop offers students fun, creative ways to start that process.”

The program will be held Tuesday, October 15, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Blanchard Room of the Mary L. Stephens Davis Branch Library, 315 East 14th Street in Davis. Participants are asked to bring a smart phone, tablet or laptop, if they have one.

Sign-ups for the workshop begin on October 1 and space is limited. To reserve a spot in the workshop, stop by the library, call (530) 757-5598 or email DavisLibrary@yolocounty.org.
