Ever since breaking out with Girls Trip, Tiffany Haddish has made it clear that she wants to work with Meryl Streep, even suggesting that the Oscar-winning legend play her foster mother in the blockbuster’s rumored sequel. On a phone call Tuesday evening with Vanity Fair, Haddish revealed that she’s attending the Academy Awards next month—and already has a plan to find Streep inside the Dolby Theatre.
Haddish, who co-presented the Oscar nominations with Andy Serkis last week, confirmed that the Academy has also asked her to present at the awards show on March 4. “I can’t say whether I am or I am not,” Haddish said, before breaking into laughter. “But you know me, girl! Tune in!”
