Twitter has hired Candi Castleberry-Singleton as its new vice president of inclusion and diversity in the latest bid by co-founder and chief executive Jack Dorsey to make the social media service better reflect the demographics of its users.

Castleberry-Singleton, who has spent years working in the field of inclusion and diversity, replaces Jeffrey Siminoff, who stepped down in February.
