R&B superstar Usher — who earlier this year was tapped by Macy’s to lead the overall design of their 4th of July Fireworks display — will have his vision come to life through an all-star cast of musical talent.
Through the theme “It Begins with a Spark,” Usher will be joined by Pitbull, Mariah Carey, Cher, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, and Tim McGraw. This is reportedly the first time in the history of the Fireworks Spectacular that a superstar is collaborating with Macy’s creative and pyrotechnic teams.
The two-hour special, hosted by Nick Cannon, will air on Thursday, July 4 from 8-10pm ET with an encore one-hour fireworks special airing at 10pm.
