Search for “Crazy Eyes” online, and you’ll find hundreds of folks, mostly on Instagram, popping their eyes out like the prison inmate known as “Crazy Eyes,” on Netflix’s hit series Orange is the New Black.
Uzo Aduba, who plays the character born as Suzanne, was nominated for an Emmy for her role, one of five actors up for the nod next month. She talked about the #CrazyEyes online phenomenon, and more, when she stopped by USA TODAY offices here recently.
