Awards season is on!

Ansel Elgort and Eva Longoria joined SAG-AFTRA president Ken Howard to announce the nominees Wednesday morning from the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood for the 21st annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. The SAGs honor outstanding performances from 2014 in five film categories and eight television categories.

The SAGs are typically a strong predictor of the Oscar acting categories, but not necessarily the best film category. Last year, American Hustle won top honors at SAGs, while 12 Years a Slave won at the Academy Awards.

The awards will be handed out live Jan. 25 in Los Angeles, in a ceremony being simulcast on TNT and TBS (8 p.m. ET/5 PT).
