Volunteers are needed to teach computer classes for seniors at the Hart Senior Center in Sacramento.

The Hart Senior Center is a place where people 50+ come to take part in various recreational classes, educational activities and social groups. One of the Center’s largest programs is its Senior Computer Learning Lab, which offers basic and intermediate computer skills training courses to seniors throughout the year.

Volunteers are needed to serve as computer instructors in classes using curriculum designed specifically for the older learner. Various schedules are available and most classes are 1.5 hours in length and meet once a week during an eight-week session. Each class has a maximum of six students. Classes are held in the computer lab Monday through Friday between 9:30am to 3pm.
