Whoopi Goldberg will both star and executive produce a new movie for Lifetime based on the novel “A Day Late and a Dollar Short” by Terry McMillan, according to an article on EURWeb.com.
McMillan is also the author of “How Stella Got Her Groove Back,” which also starred Goldberg along with Angela Bassett and Taye Diggs.
Goldberg will reportedly play the character Viola Price, who after discovering her next asthma attack could mean her death wants to use her remaining days to sort out all of her family members’ issues.
