No news story breaks my heart like one reporting of a child dying in a hot car in the summer. As this story reports, such deaths can and do occur all year, when warm temperatures essentially turn cars into oven. With the extreme heat we’ve been enjoying this summer, children in the Central Valley have been and continue to be quite vulnerable.
Please remember to remove your kids from a car even if you only plan to leave them for a few minutes, and read this article for more information.
