The endless affability of Paul Rudd notwithstanding, the season finale of Saturday Night Live certainly went down swinging. The Season 44 closer took aim at the week’s war on women, bringing star Leslie Jones onstage in a Handmaid’s Tale costume for a fiery response to Alabama’s abortion ban.

The hour opened innocuously enough, trotting out Alec Baldwin’s impression of Donald Trump for a presidential address-turned-adaptation of Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now.” The lyrics made light of Trump’s refusal to honor congressional subpoenas (and occasional penchant for Kanye-sized distractions), before Kenan Thompson’s impression of Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas addressed the likelihood of an impending Roe v. Wade argument.
