2020 surely presented many challenges for everyone!  We are facing a pandemic, societal unrest, economic uncertainty, school closures, Zoom overload, business closures, and more. Initially, I did not have the same energy or excitement about mailing Sac Cultural Hub Media Company’s annual greeting card. Then I remembered all the blessings received in the midst of our trials. Although my team and I have been impacted to varying degrees, I am committed to remember and enjoy the present moment in the midst of pain and worry.

Despite this year’s trials, Sac Cultural Hub Media Company and Foundation are still standing! We owe many thanks to God almighty for having his hand on this Black-woman owned media company. Like most businesses, we had to reconfigure our business model, and consult our partners to coordinate efforts for service and information delivery to our subscribers around the nation. We sincerely THANK YOU for continuing to trust us. We genuinely appreciate the opportunity to serve YOU just as much as we appreciate YOU continuing to patronize our company.

Because of your generous support to Sac Cultural Hub Media Company our Foundation was able to:
  • Exceed our goal for Big Day of Giving (May 7th)
  • Virtually host the 10th annual Black Physicians Forum (June 12th)
  • Virtually host the 12th annual Exceptional Women of Color (EWOC) Conference  (Oct 1-3) that included hosting the EWOC Excellence Awards Dinner for 18 awardees and awarding six $500 student scholarships

As we celebrate Christmas and prepare for the New Year, the Sac Hub family expresses our best wishes and blessings to all donors, subscribers, community partners, and sponsors. Please remember to wear your mask, wash your hands, and limit your contact with others. Stay safe, healthy and BE ENCOURAGED!
