An Important Message from Covered California

There are FOUR DAYS left to enroll eligible Californians in Covered California health plans for coverage beginning January 1st.

The enrollment website will be down for maintenance from 10 PM on Saturday, December 21st until 6 AM on Sunday, December 22nd. Thank you for your patience during this time.

Getting over the finish line

What Covered California is doing to ensure that Californians who apply by December 23rd get coverage starting January 1st

• Online Applications: anyone who completes an online application and selects a plan before midnight on December 24th will have coverage on January 1st as long as they pay their health plan by January 6th. Covered California and our health plans are committed to helping people get enrolled who started an application prior to the deadline. Covered California service center and health plan representatives will be available to help Californians resolve enrollment issues.

• In-Person Applications: anyone who applies in person on or before December 23rd with a certified agent, enrollment counselor or at a county social service office will have coverage on January 1st. Covered California is providing support to all certified representatives to get their clients enrolled for January coverage.

• Paper Applications: paper applications that are complete and received by Covered California by December 23rd will be processed in time for coverage to start on January 1st. Applications must have all the required information including a health plan selection.
