2021 PSR High School Scholarship Essay Contest is now open to high school seniors in Sacramento and surrounding counties (Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, Del Norte, El Dorado, Glenn, Humboldt, Lake, Lassen, Mendocino, Modoc, Mono, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, San Joaquin, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Solano, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Tuolumne, Yolo, and Yuba.). A total of $15,000 in scholarship money will be awarded this year to the 12 student winners. We would appreciate your help in bringing the contest to the attention of any potentially interested high school seniors with whom you have contact. A contest flyer is attached. The Allegra Ford Thomas Scholarship is a $5,000 scholarship ($2,500/year over two years) awarded to a student who will be enrolled in a two-year community college, a vocational or technical training program, or a specialized program for students with LD and/or ADHD in the fall.
