Celebrate with Five Days of Thrilling Coasters, Fireworks and Food
VALLEJO, Calif. — June 26, 2018 — Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, the Thrill Capital of Northern California, and Coca-Cola are throwing its biggest July 4th celebration ever from Sunday, June 30 through Wednesday, July 4. This year’s annual Coca-Cola July 4th Fest at Six Flags is expanding to five days with a brand new All-American Food Festival, spectacular fireworks each night, new Coca-Cola parties, one hour early Exclusive Ride Times and thrilling fun for the entire family.
“This year’s celebration features five days of family thrills, activities, live entertainment and more with five nights of exciting fireworks,” said Park President, Don McCoy. “We have partnered with Coca-Cola to create a fully immersive, one-of-a-kind salute to America with more to see and do than ever before. There is no better way to celebrate the Independence Day holiday than Coca-Cola July 4th Fest at Six Flags.”
Six Flags and Coke are going BIG for this year’s event with park-wide activities each day including:
· Five days of Exclusive Ride Times on the most popular rides and attractions (with paid admission and a can of any Coca-Cola brand;
· The new All-American Food Festival featuring specialty foods and beverages inspired by Coca-Cola beverages;
· Brilliant fireworks each night; and
· An exclusive first-ever Coca-Cola July 4th Fest After Party.
For the first time, Six Flags is introducing an All-American Food Festival, featuring delicious dining options throughout the park. A sampling of the festive themed food menu includes red, white & bleu sliders, soft serve ice cream with red, white and blue sprinkles and summer cuisine, like fresh summer salads, loaded tater tots and grilled corn on the cob. Guests can purchase an All-American Food Festival pass to enjoy up to 12 food offerings, including main meals, snacks, desserts and specialty drinks.
On Wednesday, July 4 at 12 noon, a special ceremony will honor 50-100 Purple Heart Medal recipients in recognition of their dedicated service and sacrifice.
