Vincent Carter isn’t the first COVID-19 patient to be discharged from UC Davis Medical Center. But the 51-year old Sacramento resident got a special farewell from his 14th floor care team and other hospital staff this week. They wanted to make going home even more memorable after such a challenging and scary illness.
