Sacramento, Calif. – With extensive management experience in the retail shopping center industry, Christi Woodards has been named as General Manager of DOCO (Downtown Commons) in Sacramento effective immediately.
“It is a great pleasure to welcome Christi Woodards as general manager of DOCO,” said Sacramento Kings President of Business Operations John Rinehart. “Her extensive management, marketing and operations experience coupled with her strategic thinking abilities and dynamic leadership style will be a welcome addition to the DOCO leadership team.”
Most recently, Woodards served as General Manager of Sunrise Mall in Citrus Heights where she has worked for the past nine years. Prior to Sunrise Mall, she served as General Manager of Westfield Downtown Plaza and welcomes the opportunity to return to downtown Sacramento.
Woodards has enjoyed a successful career in the shopping center industry, primarily overseeing the redevelopment and re-imagining of existing shopping centers in California, Seattle and Colorado. She has served on numerous Chamber of Commerce Boards and industry affiliated boards as well as Chair of the Sunrise MarketPlace Business Improvement District Board of Directors for the past eight years.
In addition, Woodards earned a Certified Marketing Director Designation from the International Council of Shopping Centers and has been honored with numerous marketing awards in the shopping center industry over the course of her career.
