Over 600 Young Professionals Take to K Street for Day of Inspiring Speeches and Workshops

Sacramento, Calif. – Spearheaded by Metro EDGE, a program of the Sacramento Metro Chamber Foundation, the Emerge Summit is a collaborative effort of 17 organizations committed to advocating and supporting young professionals and their growth in the community. More than 600 young professionals, from Reno to the Bay Area, will attend this professional and personal and development conference which is a full day of inspirational speeches, educational breakout sessions, and valuable networking opportunities. The focus of the Summit this year is to #MakeYourMark in your career and your community.

Metro EDGE is excited to announce that Sacramento native, Isaac Serwanga, will be the keynote speaker at Emerge Summit. Isaac is the founder of Inform and Inspire, a company that delivers inspirational presentations for individuals and organizations at the high school, college, and corporate level across the country. He’s also the best-selling author of How to Network in College and a TEDx-featured motivational speaker with his sights set on helping others find their passion and “come alive.”

What: Emerge Summit Young Professionals Conference

When: Thursday, September 19 | 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Where: The Crest Theater (1013 K Street, Sacramento, CA )

Media opportunities: Hundreds of young professionals listening to inspiring stories and lessons from Emerge speakers at The Crest Theater. During the day, YPs will take to the streets, walking to educational breakout sessions located within a ½ mile radius of downtown. Large groups will have lunch at various restaurants in the area.
