The Sacramento Ducks Youth Football and Cheer Organization is a proud member of American Youth Football and Cheer. Founded in 2014 by Deon Hopkins Sr. the Ducks are a 5013c non-profit organization that serves kids ages 6 to 14, using football and cheerleading as the medium to develop discipline, goal setting and sportsmanship in our young people.

The Junior Midget team (ages 12 – 13) has earned the right to represent AYF Nor Cal in AYF’s National Championship Tournament in Kissimmee, Florida December 2nd – 9th. The boys are to be commended for all of the hard work, commitment and dedication they’ve made to put themselves in this very unique position.

They have overcome tremendous adversity when they loss their leader Roncell “Red” Belton for the season. Red was in a horrible car accident on September 16th, in which he was the only survivor in his car. Red is making a strong recovery from various surgeries and his “brothers” dedicated the remainder of their football season to their leader and brother in football.

Coach Logan Hollis, Boye Duncan and Daunte Burks have guided these young men to a 7-2 record and the team has allowed 5 touchdowns to be scored against them, the entire season. The Sacramento Ducks are asking friends, family and supporters of the youth doing positive things in their life and for their community to please consider making a tax deductible donation in support of these boys  for their Florida trip.
