Square Root Academy is partnering with the City of Sacramento to provide free STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) programming for local scholars. Over the course of the five-week workshop series participants will be exposed to additive manufacturing (3D modeling and printing), coding using the C++ language, electronics (circuit design and creation), design thinking, and many other industry-related concepts!

The program is designed for 6th through 8th grade scholars and will feature a variety of hands-on learning opportunities. After completing the workshop series scholars will earn access to Open Lab hours where they will be able to work on their own creative endeavors with the assistance and supervision of adult mentors.

Dates: November 6th, 2019 – December 11th, 2019
Workshop/Class Sessions, Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7pm and Fridays from 5 to 8pm
