November 6, 2017—–The Power of SHE is searching for a group of 20 lowincome Sacramento-area women of color to participate in a free entrepreneurial incubator to prepare them to create, establish and sustain their own business. Women selected through a simple, online application will learn the following:
*Business plan creation
*Funding
*Marketing
*Human resources
*Determining revenue streams
*Self-care
The program culminates in a showcase in front of potential investors that gives women an opportunity to gain startup funds for their business. Sessions are conducted by professionals whose expertise will benefit the women in two specific ways. Women will learn from the best and be encouraged to develop and expand their community networks.
The ideal candidates for the entrepreneurial incubator will have the following qualities: discipline, confidence, creativity, passion, a strong work ethic and leadership abilities. The deadline to apply is December 15, 2017 for sessions beginning January 2018.
