In effort to keep the community safe and to improve access to COVID-19 testing, Senator Holly J. Mitchell is bringing a free mobile testing site to South LA in partnership with St. John’s Well Child and Family Center and LAUSD. Friday kicks off the first day of a month long series with testing dates throughout the month of June: 5, 12, 19 and 26 by appointment only. Time slots will be provided on a first come-first serve basis with representatives available in English and Spanish.
St. John’s CEO Jim Mangia will walk Sen. Holly Mitchell and LAUSD Superintendent Austin Beutner through the testing process after a brief press conference on Friday.
