The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department is seeking men and women interested in becoming members of the VIPS (Volunteers in Partnership with the Sheriff) program.

VIPS members assist the Sheriff’s Department with a variety of duties such as writing crime reports, performing residential security checks, assisting with Neighborhood Association groups, and much more. The minimum time commitment for volunteers is four hours per week, or sixteen hours each month.
