Free, family-focused event at the Folsom Powerhouse State Historic Park also available virtually

Sacramento, Calif. – SMUD is partnering with California State Parks to present the ninth annual Electricity Fair at the Folsom Powerhouse State Historic Park to educate the community about local renewable power resources.

The fair will feature interactive science and solar art projects, interactive museum exhibits, tours of the powerhouse, an electric vehicle exhibit, prizes, hydro power demonstrations, and much more. New this year, visitors can enjoy snacks from a variety of food trucks and get their blood flowing with a DJ dance party. Admission is free and doughnuts will be served to celebrate the fair’s opening.
