Stockton Kings Announce Annual Season of Doing Good for 2022 Holiday Season
— Activations throughout December to Promote Holiday Cheer in the Stockton Community —
Stockton, Calif. – Today, the Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, announced activations for their annual Season of Doing Good to celebrate this special time of year featuring multiple toy donations, parades and holiday giving.
Throughout the month of December, the team will donate 1,500 toys to local families provided by Jazwares Cares, the philanthropic arm of leading global toy company Jazwares. Toys will be distributed across multiple organizations including Toys for Tots hosted by Kaiser Permanente, Parents By Choice, El Concillio, Children’s Home of Stockton, Mary Graham Children’s Foundation, Oasis City Center and more.
“We are excited to spread cheer throughout the 209 this holiday season,” said Stockton Kings Vice President of Business of Operations Aaron Morales. “From parades to toy drives, we are thrilled to help make this time of year magical for our community.”
To tip off the annual Season of Doing Good, on December 8, the team will be supporting Coach Bobby Jackson at his foundation’s annual Christmas for Kids Shopping Spree at Dick’s Sporting Goods in the Delta Shores in Elk Grove. Coach Jackson and Stockton Kings mascot, Dunkson, will provide 25 youth Dick’s Sporting Goods gift cards to shop for all their sporting needs.
The team will continue to spread holiday magic throughout the 209 by taking part in the Lathrop Christmas Parade on December 10. Stockton Kings staff and Dunkson will join local marching bands, balloons and floats while giving warm smiles and cheers to the fans. The team will then participate in the San Joaquin County Department of Child Support Services’ holiday event on December 17, featuring a special appearance by “Dunkson-claus.”
