Understanding Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia discussed Nov. 16 at Fair Oaks Library program

The Sacramento Public Library is observing November as National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month at a special program on Wednesday, November 16 at 6 p.m. at the Fair Oaks branch, 11601 Fair Oaks Boulevard, Fair Oaks.

Denise Davis, program director of Alzheimer’s Association-Greater Sacramento Area, will discuss the warning signs of dementia, the differences between dementia and Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis, and risk reduction.
