I’d really hoped that I’d be able to call this “A First Post-Pandemic Vacation…”, but we’re still in the middle of this thing, aren’t we?
And I don’t know about you, but I’m in it to win it, so masks and hand sanitizer were deftly stashed in my carry on bag!
Our flight touched down just over an hour from takeoff, and after a brief walk we found ourselves on the curb jostling for our Uber driver, Rafael, who reminded me of Walter from The Muppets!
That’s a compliment! I LOVE Walter. But in hindsight, maybe it was the edible I had before getting on the plane…
Anyway, Rafael / Walter quickly shuttled us to the Casita @ The Cove, a gorgeous Air B & B in Cathedral City, just minutes from downtown Palm Springs.
